Taking time out of your busy day and
learn how to simply breathe and observe - there is such a peace in silence, in stillness, in seeing the changes that occur with the right breathing practice.
Meditation is an
ancient tool ... A way to sit and take time out to bring clarity and strength to the whole body. Simply by learning to meditate and to be still the body starts to respond in different ways. Learn to
quieten the "chatter" of the mind allow space to develop - those little moments are blissful and increase with continuous practice.
Mindfulness - is a way of being aware of yourself in every day life and being able to remain equanimous in certain situations and around different people. There are always things
happening that we don't like, sometimes it is unavoidable. Simply by being 'AWARE' can create a healthy mind and more acceptance of being in the World without a need to change it.
Self-Massage - being shown some movements to use for your own relaxation and to ease
tension and pain can really benefit you and decrease stress and anxiety. Certain points on the body can travel to the nervous system sending messages to distrupt the pain or the negative emotion.
Restful sleep is also a great benefit that can occur from giving yourself a massage.
Indian Head Massage -
receive an Indian Head Massage to completely relax and energise you at the same time. This is a non-invasive treatment which is given fully clothed sitting in the chair. It allows the mind to
completely switch of and to be transported into another place. Allowing for better circulation and peace of mind.
Nurturing mindfulness pauses are a good place to start - being aware of your self - I have mindfulness meditations
that I have devised within the Nurture understanding and ethos - can discuss for your specific needs.
